SHOE DAY HINTS
Bring the pink (blue for boys) sheet with you to shoe day.
You need to know your class day, time, & what items you will need.
To try on shoes, PLEASE bring or wear thin socks OR hose (or an old pair of tights).
It is helpful to buy your shoes (new or used) through the studio,
as I am available to help with the proper fitting for your child.
FITTING SHOES
Tap shoes - fit no bigger than a thumb width in the toes for growth
Ballet shoes - fit no bigger than 1/2 a thumb width. If you can turn up the excess
leather in the toes of the shoes and pinch a thumb width - they are too big.
Jazz shoes - fit the foot (they stretch with wear)
USED SHOES
TO SELL -
Place shoes in the box on the front porch of the house beginning Monday, August 23.
Connect shoes together with a twist tie or ribbon.
BEFORE you bring shoes to the studio mark both shoes with:
1) your name 2) size 3) price *
* Shoes without prices will not be put out to sale. You must price your shoes yourself!
[New shoes: White taps - $22.00 / Ribbon tie tan taps - $38.00 /
Oxford Tan taps - $75.00 / jazz shoes –$ 35.00]
Used Ballet shoes & Pointe shoes are not sold at the dance studio.
The studio is not responsible for lost shoes OR any tags that fall off -
PLEASE mark both shoes well.

Check for good back of heel (not broken down) / Secure taps / Secure heels
