Studio Rules
and
Policies


DANCE STUDIO RULES

1. Be on time! Tardiness is very disruptive.

2. The dress code will be enforced.

3. Hair must be pulled away from the face. Long hair must be up.

4. NO bracelets or necklaces.

5. NO gum or food allowed in dance class.

6. Please call if you are not going to be in
class. Regular attendance is a MUST!
However, some absents are unavoidable.

7. Tap shoes with nails or screws protruding will not be allowed in class until repaired.

8. Check each week for notes sent home.

9. Dancers may be at the studio up to 15 minutes prior to their class time. Studio doors are unlocked 15 minutes before the first class of the day (3:30 or 3:45).

10. Please pick your dancer up on time.
Those waiting for rides are unsupervised.

11. Dancers should know what their riding arrangements are.

12. Any extreme misbehavior, or destruction
of studio property or any other dancer’s
property will result in the dancer being
expelled with no refund of tuition.

DANCE STUDIO POLICIES

 

ILLNESS:
There are no make-up classes for illnesses.
Arrangements may be made in case of a
lengthy illness.

VISITATION:

Parents may visit dance class on the first
class of the month in October and February.
There are NO visitation days at any other time.

REFUNDS:

There are NO refunds after the 2nd class is taken.

SNOW / ICE / STORM DAYS:

When bad weather conditions arise, cancelation
of classes will be aired on KKOT, KZ-100 and KLIR.
* If driving in from out of town, always use your own judgement to insure your safety.

PAYMENTS:

Tuition payments must be paid prior to the
first class in September & January. All fees
must be paid to participate in the dance class.

Tuition - $95/semester for dance per student.
Pointe Class - $70/semester per student.
Advanced Ballet Class - $70/semester.
High School Dancers - if taking all classes
(jazz, tap, ballet, pointe) - $ 200.00

LATE FEE POLICY!!!
$ 20.00 PER MONTH for any fee one month past due.

 

RECITAL:
To participate in the recital, dancers must
attend 10 classes each semester. There is no refund of tuition or costume fees.

All fees must be paid to receive your costume 

to participate in the recital.

There is a matinee and evening show.
Pre-ballet and 1st year tap classes
perform in one of the shows. All other dancers perform in both shows.

I must be notified in writing (by Nov.8)
if your dancer cannot be in the recital.

COSTUMES:
A $20.00 down payment on your costume
is due by November 8. A costume is then
ordered for you. You are responsible for it’s entire payment by Feb.7.
* There are NO refunds for costumes.

CLASS PLACEMENT:
Dancers are placed in class by their
ability, and reception of learning. It is my decision if a class change is needed. Ages & grades will overlap in every class.

important for a successful year.
